Brooke Shields is making the most of summer in Croatia—and she’s doing it without the usual Hollywood polish. The 61-year-old Blue Lagoon star shared a series of vacation photos showing herself swimming, sunbathing, taking boat trips and exploring the country’s spectacular scenery with friends.
One particularly striking image captured Shields beside a cascading waterfall at Krka National Park. She wore her dark hair down with a naturally damp finish and kept her waterside outfit understated in a strapless navy one-piece, which complemented her lean, sun-kissed appearance.
The actress also appeared alongside her friends on a walkway during the trip. Instead of heavily styled celebrity photos, the images captured a relaxed side of Shields as she enjoyed the outdoors and the company around her.
“Summer highlight – the most amazing trip to Croatia with the best people,” Shields wrote while sharing memories from the getaway.
Shields’ latest look soon drew plenty of attention from her followers, many of whom felt that her figure appeared leaner than before. One admirer complimented her toned physique, while another focused on the beautiful images from her European getaway. Not every reaction was the same, however, with one commenter questioning whether medication used for weight loss could have played a role in her transformation.
Beyond her travels in Croatia, Shields is also a mother of two with her husband, Chris Henchy. The couple’s older daughter is Rowan, and Grier arrived three years later. At the moment, though, it is Brooke’s collection of sunny vacation snapshots and her self-assured swimsuit look that have once again captured considerable attention.
