Residents of Lviv are actively discussing the story of the faithful dog on social network, which has already been nicknamed the Lviv Hachiko. And his loyalty is truly an amazing and inspiring phenomenon.
The story began on February 5th. An unknown man was taken to hospital from a bus stop. The man fell, hurt his head and was seriously injured. The man’s pet, which was walking with the owner, stayed on the street. It did not move from its place and guarded the things of his owner.
The representative of the Animal Protection Organization said that the dog remained at the scene. A volunteer went to see the dog, but the animal did not allow the girl to approach it as it was obviously waiting for its owner.
Employees of the organization began searching for the owners, but all the attempts were unsuccessful. Then the volunteers decided to take the dog to the shelter from the street, but at the same time the employees continued to search for the owners. They called all the hospitals, but there was no result.
And on the 7th of February good news spread on social networks. Finally, the owners of the Lviv Hachiko were found. The volunteers were able to find out the data of the man through acquaintances. It turned out that the owner’s name is Alexander.
At first the staff of the shelter went to the neighbors of the owner of the dog, and then they met his daughter and returned the pet to her. Now the dog is at home and it is waiting for the return of his beloved owner from hospital , whom he patiently waited on the street.
