Have you ever woken up at night for such strange reasons that you don’t understand whether what you saw was in reality or in a dream? So Joe Stevens who is from Melbourne doubted the reality of what was happening around when her husband Mike woke her up at 2 am and said that a crazy possum had sneaked into their kitchen.
That’s incredible but that wasn’t a dream. The fact is that the couple was doing renovations in their home so there was a hole in the wall in the kitchen. This was what the nosy little possum decided to take advantage of. But here’s the bad thing: like Winnie the Pooh in the famous cartoon the cutie didn’t calculate his strength and … he got stuck in the wall.
The situation seems to be very funny but there is nothing funny about it. The little beast was absolutely helpless and he wanted to scratch his eyes but he couldn’t even move. The couple tried to move him but the marsupial was firmly stuck.
The people didn’t want to hurt the possum but it was very dangerous because there were electrical wires sticking out nearby.
According to Joe, the possum was just going crazy and she brought grapes on a plate and fed the animal with a fork in order to make him feel safer and to calm him down. But it didn’t help. At the same time, Mike was slowly breaking off the pieces of the wall around the possum to widen the opening in the wall.
And only half an hour later the hole in the wall was big enough for the fat creature to get out of it.
The cutie got out and then climbed onto the roof and ran off somewhere on his possum business without even saying thank you. Fortunately, he was safe and sound and after his departure the couple repaired the wall which was damaged by the beast.
