The married couple opened their suitcase before the flight and noticed a tailed surprise

Residents of the Texas town of Lubbock thought they would have a wonderful weekend in Las Vegas. They had been preparing for this vocation for a long time, and how many emotions the family experienced, when they realised that they hadn’t gone alone… We figured out this unusual story about fellow traveler Jared and Christine Owens.

The Owen’s weighed their bags before heading to the airport. They wanted to understand how much they would have to pay for the baggage. But at the weight-in at the airport, the weight grew by almost three kilos.

Americans immediately suspected, that something was wrong and began to shift things. How surprised they were, when they saw the head of a dog in their huge bag… Your own dog! It turned out, that he family’s pet Ikki, was hiding in Jade’s cowboy boots. The chihuahua fit perfectly in a large luggage and wasn’t even very scared.

The couple understood, that taking Ikki to Las Vegas is impossible. There were simply no necessary documents for the dog. Then Kathy Cook an airport employee showed incredible kindness to strangers and undertook to follow Ikki in their absence.

Ikki stayed overexposed in Lubbock until the owners returned from Vegas. The couple consider it great luck, that this hide-and-seek game didn’t end in tragedy. After all if the Chihuahua hadn’t been notified, she would definitely have died during the flight in the luggage compartment.

The couple for a more responsible attitude to the collection and monitor the behaviour of pets at such moments. She is also very grateful to the airline: no one accused the Owens of trying to bring a pet with them, and Katie wasn’t obligated to help out of the situation.
