The actor who portrayed Harry Potter struggled significantly and decided to step away from films for several years.
Recently, it came to light that both Rupert and Emma considered leaving the Wizard Boy series entirely.
Watson revealed that her diaries from that period were filled with notes about feeling isolated and overwhelmed.
“I think I was scared back then. I’m not sure if Rupert felt the same way, but there came a moment when you realize that you might be stuck in this role forever,” she shared.
Grint echoed her thoughts, admitting that he had gone through similar emotions.
“I felt exactly the same. I often thought about quitting everything. But we never talked to each other about it. It never crossed our minds back then that we might all be going through something so similar,” Rupert explained.
