Brad Pitt looked relaxed and cheerful during his latest appearance in Spain, despite continuing headlines surrounding his strained relationship with his children. The 62-year-old actor happily stopped for fans, signed autographs and posed for selfies.
Pitt opted for an unusually colorful outfit, pairing a purple polo shirt with a turquoise suede jacket, gray trousers and bright yellow sneakers. A blue baseball cap and oversized sunglasses completed the casual look.
The Hollywood star was in Spain to promote his new movie “Heart of the Beast.” Pitt plays a former Navy SEAL who becomes stranded in the Alaskan wilderness with his dog following a plane crash and is forced to fight for survival.
One familiar face was missing from his side. Pitt’s 33-year-old girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, who accompanied him to the film’s previous premiere in the United States, did not join him for this appearance.
Fans nevertheless focused on Pitt’s upbeat mood and appearance, especially given the recent attention surrounding his private life and reported estrangement from several of his children.
Some of the actor’s children have stopped using the Pitt surname, while reports have continued to focus on the difficult state of his relationship with them. Friends of the actor have also previously spoken about how he has been coping with the family rift.
But in front of the cameras in Spain, Pitt showed little sign of the turmoil surrounding his personal life — smiling broadly as he spent time with fans.
