This story took place in Argentina, in the city of Santa Rosa de Liles. A girl named Florence was fishing with her younger brother when she heard a plaintive squeak. They quickly rushed towards the place from where they heard the voice and found a dead cat in the bushes, next to which two kittens were crying. Florence took them home and began to take care of them ,having no idea what she took in her hands.
The kittens were like this, only dirty and skinny at that time. The second kitten died quickly, and the other one was named Tito and he began to gain weight.
The family of Florence holds a farm, so that little Tito had no shortage of milk, and then shortage of meat. The kitten was very nimble, it got stronger very quickly and it also loved to play. It sincerely loved his savior, adored jumping into his arms, snuggling up to her and purring. Florence did not even think that Tito was not a domestic cat at all.
Over time, Tito began to jump farther and stronger and one day it landed unsuccessfully, which made it limp. Florence rushed to the veterinarians, but everyone suspected that something serious happened and therefore, they asked for a fivefold fee. The girl was very desperate. She brought the kitten to the university to ask around among her classmates if anyone would help. Tito quickly became the star of the day at the university, until someone realized that it’s a little jaguar!
They called the Argentine Animal Rescue Fund and the specialists who arrived from there said that it is a cat, but a wild one. And they said that they should confiscate the pet, treat its leg and return it to the jungle. This is the law. It was very difficult for Florence to part with Tito, who almost became her family member. But she consoles herself with the fact that it will grow up to be a big and beautiful jaguar!
