A cat named Jessy spent almost half of its life in a shelter waiting for a family. When the catty’s hope of finding a home almost disappeared, it was unexpectedly sheltered by kind people. The pet was overjoyed and quickly settled in a new place.
Five years ago, the creature found a home when it was about eight years old. The owner of Jessy, Shannon, adores it and her whole family is delighted with the amazingly intelligent pet. For a long time, the catty was absolutely satisfied with its life but one day a new family member appeared in the house- a small child.
The girl, whom her parents named Hazel, did not make the proper impression on the animal at first. Jessy sniffed the new member competently, and then calmly went to the kitchen to eat its lunch.
Honestly, the cat wasn’t happy with the appearance of the baby. Its owner, Shannon, says that she has repeatedly asked herself if the animal will ever be able to get used to Hazel and fall in love with her.
But in reality, everything wasn’t as it seemed at first! One day, the girl’s parents looked at a video from a camera installed next to the baby. The couple were shocked by what they saw.
One night, when the child had long been put to bed, Jessy crept into the nursery. The cat jumped onto the bed with the girl, curled up next to her and fell asleep sweetly. It turns out that the baby was not so much disliked by the catty.
The children’s bed was at a decent distance from the floor, and the cat is usually too lazy to jump so high. But not this time! The pet not only wasn’t too lazy to get to the child but also slept next to the girl for almost four hours. After that, Jessy moved to the owners’ bed.
So, it turns out, that the catty always liked the baby it just wasn’t ready to demonstrate its feelings.
When the cat’s secret was revealed, it began to show love for Hazel very often. The pet follows her with its tail and when the baby cries it hurries to her to make sure that everything is okay with the child. The cutie does not miss an opportunity to sleep next to the girl and snuggle up to her.
Just recently, when the baby was crying, the cat ran to her, jumped into the bed and touched its nose to the baby, as if calming her. Until recently, the owners of the catty didn’t even know that their pet was such a good boy.
It seems that a strong friendship has developed between the girl and Jessy!
