The intelligence of birds is often underestimated and they are considered to be not as smart as cats and dogs for example. But sometimes birds prove the opposite and they behave so smartly that everyone is ashamed by their behavior. So one day the wounded pigeon came and knocked on the door of the veterinary clinic himself where he was helped. Do you think that’s a coincidence? We do not think so!
On one of the working days a dove knocked at the door of the Omsk veterinary clinic “Aveta”. The cutie was named Frank.
The dove was calmly given into the hands of the doctors who examined him and made an X-ray and diagnosed the cutie with a wing fracture.
After the examination it became clear that Frank needed an operation and several veterinarians helped the cutie at once.
Fortunately the bird’s wing fracture was treated without fragments or displacements. The doctors did everything and now Frank is ready to fly.
It turned out that Frank is not just an ordinary trash pigeon so you can’t just let him out on the street.
Most likely the cutie is a fighting pigeon. The fighting pigeons differ from their counterparts by their loud clicks of their wings during their flight “fight”. Now the vets have been looking for the old owner of Frank for several weeks and if he doesn’t show up they will have to find a new home for the bird.
