The cat gives her only kitten all her great love and there is a true connection between them.
A couple of weeks ago, a pregnant stray catty was picked up on the street and brought to a 24-hour veterinary clinic.
The clinic workers turned to the local zoo activists “Best Friends Felines” for help because the expectant mother needed a home to raise her offspring.
“It is so fortunate that we found a free guardian at this moment. The birth of the baby wasn’t expected earlier than in a couple of weeks and we were preparing for a whole litter of kittens,” tells Nikki who is a worker at the Best Friends Felines.
To their surprise, the cat named Desiri gave birth much earlier than expected and only one large kitten was very similar to his mother.
“It’s so amazing but she only gave birth to one kitten which is really a rare phenomenon,” says Nikki.
“Concerned about this fact we took her to the veterinarians for an ultrasound scan to make sure there were definitely no more kittens inside.”
Desiree and her not at all little baby moved to the guardian’s house and happily settled down there. “She eats well, rests a lot, takes care of the child and chooses a nest for herself.”
The cute mommy chose the least expected place to feed the kitten.
Ignoring all the cozy couches and the large boxes that were available to her and also the comfortable soft furniture she chose a hard, cramped compartment in the cat’s climbing frame where you can keep Toto’s precious baby so close that there is nowhere closer.
“Her love for Toto is boundless – there are no brothers and sisters who could compete with the girl for her mother’s attention,” says Nikki.
After spending the first week inseparably with her daughter, Desiri finally began to take small breaks between feedings and use them to explore the house.
“She checked every room before returning to her mom’s duties with careful curiosity,”tells Eli.
“Toto is still the biggest baby who is so round and fluffy.”- she adds.
Having visited the branch office for the first time Toto amazed everyone with her size there.
She began to move as soon as the sufficient strength appeared in the muscles. “Toto is trying hard to get to her feet because she is very persistent and if she isn’t sleeping then she is surely moving somewhere.”
Desiree devotes herself entirely to the caring for her daughter, always keeps her immaculately clean and well-fed.
Mom is very proud of her Toto the catty.
“Toto also found that she really enjoyed stroking. She closes her eyes and lifts herself slightly towards my hand making such a bond contact,” Eli writes.
The responsible mommy left the room to meet the local catty and doggy but hearing Toto’s cry she rushed back and covered the kitten with lots kisses.
“She hadn’t been leaving the room for a long time but I think as soon as Toto becomes more mobile and independent then we will be able to lie to her heart’s content on the couch with Desiri the mommy.”
Both the mommy and the daughter are touched by one of their looks and the love between them is so delightful. They give joy and support to each other every day.
