A family of four kittens were brought to the animal rights activists of Indianapolis (Indiana) whose mother-cat was hit by a car. The kids huddled together all the time calming each other with mutual presence.
At the age of about three weeks they needed 24/7 care and medical examination because one of the white kittens had a leg injury and the two others were staggering.
The only creature that seemed to be the glue holding them all together was the striped cutie.
“There are three girls in total and one of the little white kittens is a boy,” says Lori White who is an ARPO Volunteer Guardian.
Good food, proper care and comfort have provided the best result.
“Initially we thought that 2 of the cuties had cerebellar hypoplasia but it turned out that their muscles just didn’t have enough strength.”
“They were hospitalized for two days with and fortunately everything worked out and they were in good condition.”
The girl cutie with a damaged paw confidently recovered after a week of wound treatment and medication. She was the last of the kittens to switch to solid food because she had a strong dislike for the bottle.
She announces that it is time for the next lunch very loudly and is the first to learn how to eat on her own.
Having eaten her food, she rolls onto her back, giving her tummy a little scratching and then joins the others to indulge in hugs.
If they don’t sleep together it means that they rush to their room pouncing on each other and climbing everything they can reach.
The female catty wants to be in the centre of attention and doesn’t hesitate to voice her many demands. Once, climbing onto her mom’s shoulder she discovered the talents of the main examiner and hair stylist.
These kittens are lucky because they will no longer have to live on the streets and they have fully recovered, grew big and strong with the help of their caring nanny.
“They are all super playful and affectionate! They can be adopted through our office in early September, ”says Lori.
The girl catty has grown into a gorgeous lady. One of her favorite things to do is to play on the steps running up and down on them. “
These babies have finally healed well after a difficult childhood and they are giving their cute and warm hugs everyone who is around them!
