The dog Neia was kicked out of the house. The poor doggy didn’t even understand what she was guilty of. She didn’t chew on anyone’s shoes and didn’t make a puddle. She just lay quietly on her rug.
She scratched softly at the door of their house and then lay down on the door mat with a sad sigh. Neia just gazed wistfully at the tightly closed door. She was once brought to this apartment as a little funny puppy. Here she grew up and lived for many years as a devoted comrade. She gave birth to offspring in this house but now she is no longer needed.
A few hours later the next door was opened on the site from which came out a young guy who was about eighteen years old. He almost stepped on the dog and again he had to jump his its feet and run away. “Stop, Neia, what are you scared of and why are you here did they forget about you? Don’t be afraid we will call your apartment and you will go home,” – the kind boy said. He called several times but there was no answer. It is strange because the hostess was almost always at home.
The boy decided to call the other neighbor and the elderly lady opened it almost immediately – most likely she was watching the situation through the peephole. And the boy asked if the woman knew where Neia’s mistress disappeared” – asked the young man scratching the dog behind the ear.
The pensioner told him that the mistress packed her things and drove off to her relatives and she probably won’t come back.
Everything is clear. It turns out that Neia the cutie was left alone,” the boy said sadly.
Ivan was still a student, and even lived in a rented apartment therefore he couldn’t take the animal with him. The day was spent calling nurseries for the homeless cutie but there were no vacant places. There was no other way out and the boy decided to call the hostess and tell about the situation because it was impossible to look at an abandoned animal …
The hostess was silent for a long time and then she said unexpectedly: “You are a kind guy…. If you want you can stay but you will be responsible for the repairs if the doggy suddenly spoils something … “
The guy was so happy and he thanked the hostess and ran to the door to bring the cute doggy home. Neia had already had time to eat the food which was offered by the guy and lay down on his rug. When he opened the door she wagged her tail and it seemed that she even smiled. She realized that everything would be fine with her and the new kind owner wouldn’t leave her.
