In 2016, Zinaida Tokareva and her husband suffered a great loss. The family’s favourite cat, named Nyuronka died of oncology. The husband and wife immediately decided, that they would certainly take another kitten into the house, and they would definitely come from the orphanage.
In Perm, where Zinaida lives, there is a shelter “Cat Matroskin”. Employees are are posting posts about the attachment of animals to social networks and one day a woman saw there a photo of a cat named Masya, whom she wanted to shelter.
The history of the animal is rather sad. Masya got to the orphanage already pregnant about a month ago. Volunteers found the unfortunate cat in the entrance, where she tried to hide from the frost. When the veterinarian examined the animal, he realized that the situation was critical. It turns out that the kittens that were about to be born were already dead. Masia’s life was also endangered.
The doctor gave the cat a caesarean section and then sterilised it. The veterinarian saved the baby from a painful death… After the operations the cats, as we already know ended up in a shelter, and then Zinaida came for her, touched by the sad story of the kitten.
So Masia got a family. The cat didn’t look confused or embarrassed. She proudly walked through the rooms and purred contentedly.
Now Zinaida and her husband have an affectionate “grey cloud”. Sometimes a cat demonstrates its character to its owners, considering itself a full member of the family.
The animal was very lucky to be in such a wonderful family! May her life be long and filled with an endless number of feline joys.
