Mary who lives in Berlin feeds stray cats every day. She cannot take them all to her home so she tries to help them survive in difficult street conditions.
During one of these feedings she first saw the unusual kitten whom the woman named Rocket.
He had no hind legs at all but as soon as Mary approached him he immediately galloped away from the woman.
Mary returned there that evening to feed the cats again and she again spotted Rocket. He was no longer so afraid of her and she managed to approach the kitten.
He won her heart from their first meeting and she decided that it would be much easier for the kitten if he lived at her house.
Rocket’s first night in the house was very difficult because the kitten didn’t understand where he was and was just screaming loudly all the time not letting the woman fall asleep. Fortunately, she was so sympathetic to the cutie and she thought that she would be able to melt the heart of this crumb.
Another day passed and Rocket began to get used to the new house.
Moreover, it seemed that he realized what Mary had done for him and how she had changed his life for the better. In gratitude for this he tried not to leave his savior even for a minute.
But most of all he loves to climb into the arms of Mary and as soon as he is there he immediately begins to purr very loudly.
Rocket recently celebrated his first birthday. He still has his whole life ahead and he will be happy!
