Venezuelan actress Koraima Torres, best known for her iconic role in the hit telenovela Kassandra, first began her acting career in Venezuela in the late 1980s. Though she found fame and admiration on screen, she recently revealed a surprising truth about her relationship with the camera.

In a new post on Instagram, Torres shared a series of elegant photos and got candid with her followers:
“It’s always been hard for me to stand in front of the camera, believe it or not,” she admitted. “Photography has always felt like a challenge for me.”
Despite her natural screen presence, the actress confessed that photo shoots make her feel uneasy—offering fans a more vulnerable side of the glamorous star.

Torres landed her breakout role in 1992 as the lead in Kassandra, a telenovela that went on to air in over 100 countries and made her a household name. Following that success, she moved to Colombia and took on another lead role in the series Dreams and Mirrors.

It was during this time that her personal life took a romantic turn. On set, she met Colombian actor Nicolás Montero. The two fell in love, and in 1996, they tied the knot.
